
July 21, 2025 (Calgary, Alberta): After a careful and deliberate recruitment process, the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Stacy Paquin as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately.
Stacy previously served as RECA’s General Counsel and Corporate Secretary and has been a key member of the Senior Leadership Team for the past six years. She brings deep legal and regulatory expertise, along with extensive industry insight—key strengths that will support RECA’s continued evolution.
“As Alberta’s real estate regulator, consumers and industry professionals rely on RECA to uphold the standards and rules that sustain confidence in the sector,” said Elan MacDonald, Chair of RECA’s Board of Directors. “We’re pleased Stacy has accepted the CEO role. Her leadership will help RECA continue to evolve, strengthen its relationships, and implement its strategic direction in the years ahead.”
